Let’s address the elephant in the room: planning an overseas adventure holiday can be daunting and downright scary, especially if you’ve never done it before. In fact, most people simply give up before they ever book a trip; they just feel like it’s too much of a hassle and they may do something wrong.

This is EXACTLY why we created Hobnail Trekking!

Holly and I know firsthand 1) how many logistics are involved in an international adventure and 2) how life-changing and rewarding it can be. So when we made the decision to create this company back in 2016, we directed our focus toward one thing:

Removing the stress.

When you travel with us, your worries will evaporate the moment you step off the airplane at your destination country. From that point, you only have one job: enjoy yourself and make memories.

When you undertake one of our adventures, you’re never left to your own devices unless you want it that way. Our staff will be at your disposal for help with shopping, tipping, transportation, and whatever else you need beyond the obvious stuff — like guiding you on the trail.

“But, what about the itinerary?” you might be asking. “I wanted to plan that myself!”

Sure, there are some places where trekkers can plan their own itineraries, but the honest truth is, it’s difficult and impractical to do that from afar. Every one of our itineraries is designed by our local partner under our direction. Because our partners reside in those countries (and were usually born and raised there), they know every detail of their environments — the best vistas, the best routes, the best accomodations, and the stuff to avoid.

Understand, also, that having the benefit of a pre-planned itinerary and a local guide doesn’t mean your trip won’t be an adventure — it most certainly will be! Don’t expect a trip to Disney or Myrtle Beach or Gatlinburg. (Nothing wrong with those, by the way.) This will be an epic, challenging accomplishment.

But the logistics will be the easy part.
