This route adds three days to the EBC Classic trek by diverting trekkers into the Gokyo Valley to experience the five magical and holy aquamarine lakes as well additional villages and sites. If you can spare three more days, this extension is well worth it!

Like the EBC Special Edition trek listed above, this departure is guided by Thubten Sherpa, a renowned guide and former Buddhist monk. This route itself is identical to the standard EBC + Gokyo Lakes itinerary.
