Like anyone else, we love a good deal — both getting and giving. If you are planning on trekking with a team of six or more people (on the same trek), give us a shout and we will work up a custom price for you. Sound good?
military Discount
Military veterans hold a special place in our hearts, so we’re happy to offer any U.S. veteran* $250 off a trek of their choice.
*Must provide a copy of DD-214, military ID, or driver’s license with veteran designation.
part deux discount
We’re still in a giving mood, so here’s one more nugget: Going on a Hobnail trek qualifies you for an automatic $250 off any future Hobnail trek! So, go to Everest Base Camp this year and you get a cool $250 off your next trek, maybe the Peruvian Odyssey, for example. You’re welcome!
About refunds
Registering for a trek is simple, and requires only a small deposit to hold your spot.
Most treks require a minimum number of trekkers to confirm. Your deposit is non-refundable* unless that minimum is not met by 60 days prior to the start date of the trek. Any other payments you’ve made toward your trek balance are refundable if the trek is not confirmed by 60 days.
If the minimum number of trekkers has not been met by 60 days prior to the start date of the trek, you can choose to:
- Pay the additional cost necessary to continue the trek with a smaller number of trekkers (if applicable), or
- Transfer the deposit to another trek that occurs within two years of the date on which the initial trek was scheduled to begin, or
- Request a full refund of the deposit within six months of the date the initial trek was scheduled to begin.
There are absolutely no refunds of any payments for any reason within 60 days prior to the start date of a confirmed trek.
*You may be able to get a refund of your deposit through your trip insurance provider. Each policy is different (so read yours carefully), but some may cover reimbursements of any fees you’ve already paid in the event you have to cancel.
